Blanton's Takara Black Edition Bourbon

This limited-release is truly a rare find. Distilled at Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Blanton’s Takara Black Japanese Bourbon is the export only version of Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon. It’s one of three extra-aged Blanton’s Takara Bourbons that are bottled and contain a distinctive labeling scheme. Created for exceptional smoothness and a clean finish, this bourbon is made with a sour mash of corn, rye and malted barley before maturing in American White Oak casks.

Nose: Powerful and dry aromas of honey, rye, dried fruits, vanilla and chocolate.

Palate: Full and rich with sharp apricot notes alongside butter, pepper, honey and oak.

Finish: Long with toffee apples developing to pecan and caramel.
