Aged for a minimum of 13 years and bottled at 45.5% ABV (91 Proof), this limited expression showcases a softer, more mature side of Wild Turkey while retaining the bold character that defines the distillery. Originally created for the Japanese market, Distiller's Reserve has become a highly desirable bottle among Wild Turkey enthusiasts and collectors.

🥃 Product Overview

Wild Turkey 13 Year Old Distiller's Reserve is selected from mature bourbon barrels aged on the lower floors of Wild Turkey's warehouses, where cooler conditions encourage a slower maturation process. The whiskey was barreled at a lower entry proof, contributing to its distinctive balance of mature oak, concentrated sweetness, and classic Wild Turkey spice. After 13 years in new charred American oak, it is bottled at 91 proof, revealing layers of baked fruit, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and warming spice.

💫 What Makes It Special

Wild Turkey 13 Year Old Distiller's Reserve stands apart through its combination of extended maturation, lower barrel entry proof, and lower-floor warehouse aging. These conditions allow the bourbon to mature gradually, developing significant oak complexity without sacrificing the rich sweetness and spice associated with Wild Turkey.

Originally developed specifically for the Japanese market, where the number 13 is considered fortunate, this expression is significantly harder to encounter than Wild Turkey's core releases. Its mature age statement, distinctive 91-proof bottling strength, and connection to the Russell family's whiskey-making legacy make it an especially compelling addition to a premium bourbon collection.

🥃 How to Enjoy

• With a Few Drops of Water: Opens additional layers of baked fruit and sweetness.

• Collector's Pour: An excellent bottle for comparing against younger Wild Turkey expressions.
